It's almost a week now since Boo (dachshund puppy) and I got acquainted, bond together as friends.
On his first day at home, I quickly introduced Boo to my family at the sala in order to make friends with them as well especially Andrei (a child) of which Boo likes to play with. On the following day, Boo and I went to pay a visit to his veterinarian for a first time check-up. The veterinarian read Boo's profile via the pamphlet/paper which I brought and then he advised and eventually given a 5 in 1 booster shot to strengthen his immune system against certain dog viruses. The following days, due to my careless feeding (a lot of water and a few dog food with milk), Boo's stomach gone mad upset in which he felt very sick, with high fever, diarrhea, and lethargic, sleepy. Because of this, I sent a text message to the breeder asking about first aid remedy. He advised me to make a mixture of water with sugar and salt and a drug tablet as a remedy. I then gave this mixture to Boo through a baby feeding bottle. Eventually, the breeder asked me to go to the veterinarian for vaccine and boosters. I then figured out what made my puppy dachshund felt sick that way, it is because of the food that I was giving him so I switched him back to the regular dog food he is eating and decided to make alternate meals three times a day with human food good for a puppy and its original dog food. Now, Boo looks healthy, playful, eating, sleeping. Many thanks to the breeder and veterinarian advises and treatment.
