Jeyan Necla Bekar is a Turkish artist. At her very young age she started drawing
which eventually led her to earn a degree in Business and Fine Arts at Marmara
University which she graduated with the highest honor of suma cum laude. After she graduated, she started to have her
own workshop to teach arts to children.
Throughout her career as an artist,
her artworks were included in various prestigious exhibitions in Berlin,
Germany, Reise Durch das Labyrith, Japan, United States and Turkey.
In 1999, she migrated to the
United States and earned her license for Exhibitions and Museum studies in San
Diego, California. During that time, she
volunteered as a curator at La Jolla Contemporary Art Museum and Natural
History Museum. In 2010, she curated
Homage at Homeros Art Exhibition in Long Beach, CA and also her works are
exhibited at the Japanese Embassy of Istanbul, Turkey.
By helping less-fortunate, she
donated her art to raise funds for Lions Club, Rotary Club, etc.
