Emine Ceylan Özdemir is an
accomplished Turkish visual artist born on September 1, 1957 married to
Ahmet. She took her formal education in
the arts at Dokuz Eylul University.
Throughout her travels around
Turkey, she predominantly paints figuratively about people or friends she met
around. I describe her art as an
expressionistic harmonization of colors which brings about the softness of her
techniques expressing her true emotions.
Throughout her career in the
arts, she became an art teacher in Anatolia, serves a jury on various art
competitions. She holds various
prestigious art awards and citations including exhibitions, co-exhibitions
locally and abroad. She contributed one
of her paintings to UNICEF for International Children's Festival. She is also a member of International Plastic
Artist's Association and Helsinki International Artist's Association.
Now, she continues to work at
her workshop.
